Jaber (31) & Mohammad (5) 


Jaber and his wife, Ruba, are stranded in Cairo with their two young children — Aileen (3) and Mohammad (5). They left Gaza just before the genocide began so Mohammad could receive treatment for Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and seizures. Soon after, every border closed, leaving them without income, legal status, or a way home.

They’re now fully dependent on donations to survive. Monthly therapy and medical care for Mohammad cost over $400, and with rent, food, and basic needs, the family needs a sustained roughly $1,400 each month to stay safe and stable.

Jaber has become a close friend to our community — many of you have seen the small video exchanges between his children and one of our organizer’s kids, Otis. These connections are what Give to Gaza is built on: real families, real relationships, and the shared work of helping each other survive.

Your donation goes directly to Jaber and Ruba to cover Mohammad’s care, rent, and daily living expenses while they wait for a safe path forward to go home and rebuild their home from rubble.
