Taleen and Kareem are exceptionally talented young artists who continue to create while living under bombardment. They are currently displaced in Khan Yunis with their parents, grandparents, and uncles after being forced to leave Central Gaza. Through their artwork, they share glimpses of what it means to grow up in fear, using creativity as a way to stay connected.
The family urgently needs support to cover evacuation costs once Rafah reopens. They hope to reach Egypt, and eventually Europe, where they can reunite with family — to rest, recover, and regain the strength it will take to one day return home and rebuild.
Their artwork is offered here as a thank-you for direct donations — an exchange of resilience and care in a time of displacement, as well as a dream that Taleen has always had of having an actual art show.
