"My name is Mahmoud Al-Masri, a 23-year-old young man from the heart of war-torn Gaza. I once carried a simple dream: to study Biomedical Engineering at Al-Azhar University – Gaza, to serve my community and help the sick. But that dream was shattered in an instant, reduced to rubble when my university was completely destroyed by relentless bombing.

The occupation hasn’t just destroyed buildings — it has crushed years of hope, erased futures, and stolen lives. Today, we are left struggling in unimaginable conditions: no food, no medicine, no safety… and fear surrounds us every single moment.

I now carry a burden far greater than my years. I am the eldest son in a family of nine, and my father is injured and unable to move. I am the only one left to care for them. But my responsibilities don’t end there — I also care for five other families who have lost everything. In total, 22 precious souls depend on me every single day for food, medicine, safety, and hope.

The borders are sealed. Aid is scarce. And hunger is slowly devouring our bodies. Every day feels like a battle just to survive.

And so, I appeal to you from the depths of my heart: Please, help me feed my family, care for my injured father, and support the children and women who rely on me amidst this humanitarian catastrophe.
